Mozilla Firefox is free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite and managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Net Applications survey puts Firefox at 25% of the shares recorded using a Web browser and November 2009 [update], so that the two most popular browsers currently in use in all parts of the world after Microsoft's Internet Explorer, the browser most commonly used independent of any operating system.
